Terms & Conditions

Clients are asked to note that the time taken to complete an emergency locksmith appointment is subject to the full charge regardless of the time spent on site. The effort to gain entry varies and as such all jobs are charged on the same rates.

In requesting our attendance to attend a call out to your premises you are accepting our charges and our terms and conditions.

Payment for our services is taken on ordering the work and all additional charges are taken on completion. Until such time as the services are paid in full then any materials supplied remain the property of Greater London Locksmiths and the company will exercise their right of lien and take back any goods that are unpaid for.

All goods come with a manufacturers guarantee of up to twelve months and faulty goods must be pursued with the manufacturer. Greater London Locks does not accept liability for faulty goods. All workmanship is guaranteed for three months by Greater London Locks.

All quotes remain valid for three months but the company reserves the right to increase quotation values by inflation or by any manufacturer price increases should this apply.

Payment terms for call outs are instant and for quoted works 14 days after invoicing for either completed jobs or staged payments.

All goods supplied for a job will be subject to a handling charge of 15%.

Goods supplied and not used will be subject to a 20% handling charge if a manufacturer accepts returned goods but will be charged for in full if they do not.

If we attend a call out and we are denied access or if the client is not present, Greater London Locks will charge the full call out cost as an abortive call.

Unpaid invoices or late payments will be charged at 8% interest over the bank base rate compounded daily.

Duplicate invoices will be subject to an administration fee of £20 per reissue.

Any legal costs incurred in chasing overdue payments we be charged in full to the client.
